Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 15, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting, accessing, or using the Securoth Discord security bot (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Securoth provides automated link analysis, email breach detection, private note storage, and spam risk analysis through the Discord interface. Features are accessed via Discord’s API and are powered by third-party services such as AWS, Have I Been Pwned, and others.

3. Subscription and Payments

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. All fees are charged as stated at the time of purchase and are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing or remove features with reasonable notice. You are responsible for maintaining an active Discord account and payment method.

4. No Guarantee of Accuracy or Security

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that messages, breach data, or links are completely secure or accurate. Users are responsible for verifying any alerts or output provided by the Service.

5. User Data and Privacy

By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to the storage of your data—including email addresses, notes, and metadata—on third-party cloud infrastructure such as AWS DynamoDB. Although we employ encryption and other safeguards, no system is entirely secure. Private messages and notes are not visible to third-party integrations except as required to function. We disclaim liability for any unauthorized access or data loss, including breaches originating from Discord or other integrated platforms.

6. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Securoth and its developers, partners, or affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to data loss, security incidents, unauthorized access, or decisions made in reliance on Service output.

7. Third‑Party Services

The Service depends on third-party platforms such as Discord, AWS, and breach databases. We do not control their availability or behavior and disclaim responsibility for outages, breaches, or changes in their functionality.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any reason, including violation of these Terms. We may also discontinue the Service at our discretion with or without notice.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. By using this Service, you agree to resolve any disputes exclusively in a competent court located in the U.S.
